This so-called melt-down of the bromance? It’s not the end. They both need each other too much. That’s not to say it wasn’t an exciting episode. Stay tuned for the next show.

Hey, did you know that I animate all the editorial cartoons that get published in the Hamilton Spectator? That's right! Nowadays, I create them on an iPad. The ProCreate app I use captures the drawing process, creating a file that accelerates the movement for animation. I then use editing software to add zoom effects, along with sound effects and music, to enhance the interpretation of my work. You can find the entire collection conveniently organized in a playlist on my YouTube channel here.

Substack is a vital platform for me, especially with the uncertainties that come with being a staff editorial cartoonist. While I’m hopeful about my future, I know many talented colleagues have faced layoffs and newspaper closures. This platform gives me a backup plan in case I find myself in a similar situation.
